Working Out

Up until  a couple of months ago, I was one of the laziest people I knew. You think I'm kidding, but I'm not. I dreaded the thought of working out. The only forms of working out I did was horse back riding, mucking stalls (great arm workout, my arms are rivaling that of a body builder) and walking. Oh wait, sometimes I ran when I was either chasing a horse or running to an event/class because I used to be notoriously late. Oh, and when I say "used to be" I mean still am, but I'm working on it.

Don't get me wrong, I'll go to an exercise class every now and then and I used to play soccer but I am just lazy in my motivation to work out.

However, I know that as the years pass on my steady diet of cupcakes, chicken wings and pizza will catch up with me. So technically, my motivation to work out came from my love of food. To me, in order to take my first steps towards a healthier lifestyle came down to either get off your a** and workout or trade the cupcake in for a carrot. And for those who know me, I got off my butt and worked out.

Now that I am trying to work out almost every day. I am currently trying to conquer the task of eating healthy. And believe you me, it is not an easy task to accomplish. Sure I incorporated more healthy dishes into my diet  but that doesn't mean I quit eating cupcakes.

Actually, my goal for tomorrow is to find new baking recipes that are still yummy, but provide more nutritional value than my normal recipes.
